This morning started with driving through torrential rain on our way to the cable park in Sydney to do some wake boarding. It was cloudy but there was no rain in the time we were there, which was good. It was the first time that both of us has done cable skiing of any kind and so it was a bit of a learning curb.
I'm terrible in general so I did a lot more swimming than wake boarding. My last run was pretty good until it ended in a face plant. Anyway, I don't have any photos because obviously we were both in the water. Here are some pictures from our side trip on the way home to Brisbane Water NP, Somersby Falls. We were pretty lucky, the heavy rain meant a pretty good show.
The fall have 3 levels to them and the walk to the bottom is pretty easy and short, the website says about 15mins each way.

Brandon being silly at the top of the falls (The top falls were behind this photo but they were pretty unimpressive so I didn't bother with a photo) |
Very scenic and nice long exposure :) DG
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks. I really want a tripod because I'm just not steady enough to hold the camera for long exposures so I have to put it on the ground
