No more pink togs :( |
We also discovered the stupid doctor who filled out my yellow fever form wrote my maiden name... Let's hope I can get that sorted out on Monday or Tuesday... And we also found out we will need a visa for Paraguay, so we will have to organise that when we get to La Paz.
Anyway, on with the packing! In my clothing I have: 2 pairs of hike pants, 1 pair of shorts, jeans, 5 tops, 1 short skirt and 1 long, 1 nice dress, 1 set of togs, 1 long sleeve top (for the jungle), 7 pairs of undies and mostly sports bras, and 4 pairs of hiking socks and 3 pairs of ankle socks. I will be wearing my jeans and ski jacket on the plane with my hiking boots and we will both have a spare outfit in our carry-on just in case. I have my joggers packed in case, a pair of thongs and some sandles.
I have all our toiletries and medicines and anything that might leak in plastic containers, and I'm trying packing cubes. The pink things, I feel like they may be more annoying than anything else and may end up in a South American bin.
I wasn't going to take the little bag that zips on the outside of my pack but there is absolutely no way my sleeping back was fitting in my pack, so that's where it will live until we need it in Peru. I also have a few small souvenirs, one especially for a lady in the Galapagos who has organised a boat trip for us.
In our carry on we will have our tablet, phone, some musli bars, protein bars, travel diary, a couple rolls of toilet paper and all the important things like passports and money.
Three days to go!
