On Friday we headed towards Queensland to meet our new little nephew and catch up with both of our families for the first time after South America. On the way we stayed overnight with our friends at Inverell and had some fun playing with some new puppies.
For some reason driving always makes you so, so tired and by the time we got to Toowoomba the next afternoon we were both super tired. Brandon was so tired in fact he ran into someone's tow ball and gave my car a little face lift. Apparently my sister and I looked too tired in our first photos so we needed to perk up.
We stayed the night with Brandon's grandparents and there was a lovely sunset. Much better than San Pedro. I started playing with the settings on my camera and even though I have no idea what I did, I like the way it turned out.
Every time we drive to Queensland I mean to stop at a Dalek mail box that we go past. In the country theme mail boxes are pretty common, but I've never seen a Dalek one before. I felt motivated this time. The owners even had a little plaque with a story about him. It's just outside Deepwater, which is a pretty weird town in general, there's always something strange stuck to the light posts in town.
