Nearly died taking this shot. Not really... |
We are lucky enough to live very close to the track, but we don't use it as much as we should. It is a really nice place to ride without scary traffic and it's through bushland.
There are many access points to the track, and even a few places with car parks. The track also has signs that tell you what suburbs are nearby and there are a few drinking bubblers along it.
I attempted to take a panning photo for the first time. It started off a bit dodgey, which I was expecting. What I wasn't expecting was that I would take a half decent shot, and that would give me hope. Just to make me realise how much that shot was by chance not due to skill, every shot thereafter was terrible!
We also decided to ride to a quite picturesque tunnel on the track. In our heads it couldn't have been too far away. It turns out it was over 10kms from our house, and Brandon was threatening to call a taxi for the trip home. We did both make it home without any outside assistance.
My ever patient model (haha) |
