Munmorah Conservation Area

Not far south of Newcastle is Munmorah Reserve, a patch of bush with rocky coastline and a couple sandy beaches. We have driven past many times and wondered what's in there. We finally decided to take a quick trip and have a look see.
Within the reserve there are a number of beaches; Freeman's beach, Frazer's beach, and Moonee Beach. We drove in to Frazer's beach, which surprisingly was patrolled, and walked north until we reached a large sea cave. It was only a short walk, and we probably would have planned to go on a day when we could spend longer since parking is $7.
